Being India’s one of the most admired architectural sites, it stands amidst the fortified walls that are said to be added in the 16th century. The ‘Vimana ‘or the temple tower of 26 ft. is tallest of its kind. There is a big monolithic statue of Nandi at the entrance that measures about 16 feet long and 13 feet high.

Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds is situated in the heart of the Pink city, Jaipur. The pyramid shaped five-storied palace was constructed using red and pink sandstone by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for women’s of royal families in 1799. Hawa Mahal is one of the major tourist attractions of Jaipur and the Royal state of Rajasthan. It is about 50 ft high and has 953 little windows, called ‘JHAROKHAS’ and are covered in amazingly decorative latticework.
